Issues Surrounding Palliative Care
Symposium on Palliative Care Issues
Providence, RI ... May 13, 2011 --- Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island and Coastal Care Medical Management are co-sponsoring an educational symposium for community healthcare professionals on Wed., June 15th, from 7 am to 11:00 am at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. “Issues Surrounding Palliative Care” will feature presentations from Eve Block, MD, Ed Martin, MD, and Joan Teno, MD on pain management, hospice eligibility and levels of care, advanced care planning and dementia as a terminal illness. The cost is $75 for physicians and $50 for allied health care professionals. CEUs will be offered. Deadline to register is June 10, 2011.
